Being the daughter of a Fighter pilot, Maria had the privilege of traveling to many countries  in her youth. The richness and beauty she experienced colored there way deep into her design philosophy. With a desire to bridge her passion for the arts, she decided to pursue a career in the Film business. Maria is now a Production Designer for Motion Pictures and Television. She began her career working on the “ Terminator ‘’ as a Set Decorator but was given the Art Director responsibilities. Maria designed the television show DEADWOOD, and won an Emmy for her work. Born in Chicago, she now resides in Los Angeles. She has one son named Forest Terry. “ He is an extraordinary human being ‘’, she quoted, and is Maria’s biggest inspiration.  “ His love of life taught me how to design with a respectful heart and experience God’s presence more acutely when I’m designing”.  “
